REHABILITATION AND RECONDITION
The association "Rehabilitation and reconditioning of disorders after brain damage, zs" (hereinafter referred to as the "association") has been registered since 2014. Its activity follows the activity of the "Association for the Prevention and Rehabilitation of Communication Disorders", which was founded by PaedDr. Jitka Stejskalová in 1998.
The main goal of the association is to provide support to people with acquired brain disorders and their loved ones in finding a valuable way of life again. This corresponds to the total content of the realized rehabilitation stay .
As part of the creation of the rehabilitation program, we follow the motto:

Intended for: Especially, but not only, those who have a long-term movement disorder, psycho-emotional tuning and/or speech disorder after a stroke, and who welcome the opportunity to harmonize their mind and body in the spring.
Number of participants on the rehabilitation stay: max. 25 people.
The stay program: is full-day, structured, participation in it is voluntary. It is mainly focused on improving mental and physical condition, self-sufficiency and communication skills, as well as on the individual difficulties of the participants. The presence of physiotherapists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, occupational therapists and experts specializing in the treatment of psychosomatic problems is ensured. A medic is present throughout the rehabilitation stay to provide first aid to the participants if necessary.
Venue: The reconditioning stay takes place in a recreational facility, Horní Bradlo (near the Sečská dam in eastern Bohemia). The name and address of the facility is Oáza srdce, Vršovská Brána sro, Horní Bradlo - Vršov 19.
Important notice: Participants who are not self-sufficient must be accompanied by a caring companion (e.g. a family member, assistant, friend). For the accompanying person, the rehabilitation stay offers space to collect valuable information.
Accommodation: hotel type, category I rooms - bathroom and toilet in the room, wheelchair accessible, lift. Due to capacity reasons, accommodation in a separate room for 1 person is not possible. Participants of the rehabilitation stay pay for accommodation and food.
Room price: Category I varies from CZK 1,050 to CZK 1,500 per person per day (the exact price will be specified by the accommodation facility depending on the situation on the energy market). We will inform you about the price in time.
The stay begins: dinner on Thursday 08/05/2025 and ends on Sunday 18/05/2025 with breakfast.
We collect money for the stay: 1st day of stay in cash (if possible have exact cash, thank you).
Boarding: full board including snacks, with respect for dietary restrictions - meat-free diet, diabetes, pancreatic disease, etc. Tea or citrus water is provided throughout the day for a proper drinking regime. Additional drinks can be purchased in the hotel and in the local shop.
Transport: own, with the possibility of free parking.
Participants cover the costs of accommodation and meals, i.e. approx. CZK 10,500 for a ten-day stay for one person and a fee of CZK 1,500 for the professional program (not accompanied). The costs of medical personnel are mainly covered by sponsorship contributions of the association that organizes the stay.
To document the patient's state of health, take a clear medical report with you to the rehabilitation stay.

Sponsorship Activities:
We will be happy for any monetary donation that will allow us to continue organizing the once a year rehabilitation stay. We conclude a donation agreement with sponsors, which is the basis for tax relief.

NOTE: For all participants, this is a voluntary stay, which is a combination of direct employment and free time. Each participant is responsible for himself during free time and when moving to work . The organizer does not provide any assistance during these free times ( including night hours ). Those interested in a rehabilitation stay with reduced self-sufficiency should responsibly consider participating with the presence of an escort who will help them with ensuring hygiene, with moving to the toilet, with dressing, with temporal and spatial orientation. Acceptance of a patient for a rehabilitation stay (including his/her accompanying person) is conditional upon the presentation of a certificate of negativity for any infectious disease.
